Up to four adults across two bedrooms (one double and two singles), plus one adult or child on the living-room sofa bed, and a baby in the cot provided.

Yes. The two bedrooms sit on opposite sides of the living room, each behind doors, so the space can be arranged with gender segregation if you need it.

Alloa Mosque (Musalla as Salaam) is on the same street, about a five-minute walk, with ablution (wudu) facilities and a separate women’s prayer space.

Plenty within easy reach of Alloa: the Ochil Hills for walks, Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, and day trips to Edinburgh and Glasgow.
